How Can I Help?

There are many ways to help . . . we can help you find the one that's right for you or your company!

Whether you are a private citizen, a corporate or community leader, a senior or a baby boomer, if you read the newspapers or watch the news you are aware of a challenge facing society today . . . the aging of America has emerged as one of the most urgent issues of the twenty-first century.

  • The 2000 Census counted 16,332 seniors residing in Colonie.
  • Today that number is well over 17,000.
  • When the Baby Boomers all reach senior status, that number will likely double to over 35,000!

Several facts are in our future, we will have more senior citizens in Colonie, they will be living longer and some will need services like transportation, housing, socialization and assistance to stay in their homes and near family.

A community as strong and as dedicated to its residents as Colonie is can make the growth of seniors who want to stay in their community a triumph by encouraging everyone to work together.
