Whether you are a private citizen, a corporate or community leader, a senior or a baby boomer, if you read the newspapers or watch the news you are aware of a challenge facing society today . . . the aging of America has emerged as one of the most urgent issues of the twenty-first century.
Several facts are in our future, we will have more senior citizens in Colonie and the Capital Region, and they will be living longer. Some will need help to live independent, active lives, to age-in-place in their homes, near family and community.
A community as strong and as dedicated to its residents as Colonie is can make the growth of seniors who want to stay in their community a triumph by encouraging everyone to work together to help Colonie Senior Service Centers sustain our Mission, Vision and Values.
